I found myself scouring their daily board to see if they were on the day's menu, they are so good! Then I started scouring the web for a recipe just like the ones made here, and came upon your blog and Carrie's Grandma's recipe. The pictures look exactly the same as the ones I love. I also enjoyed reading about Carrie and her connection to Seed Savers Exchange. I planted seeds from them for over a decade while gardening in Connecticut and devoured their quarterly magazine. Now living in Wisconsin (a mere stone's throw from Iowa!) my dream has been to drive to Decorah and immerse myself in the loveliness of the Seed Savers Exchange farm.
